Comair Rotron Since its beginning in 1947, Comair Rotron has been the leading supplier of standard and value-added fans and blowers for a broad range of markets including electronics, computers, telecommunications and HVAC. In December of 2014, Ammon & Rizos a manufacturers rep company purchased Comair Rotron from Gentherm. Ammon & Rizos has represented Comair since 1954 and has offices in the US, Mexico and Brazil. Comair Rotron's Shanghai operation is a state of the art fan and blower manufacturing facility.
Comair Rotron, Inc. provides cooling solutions. It engages in the design and development of forced air electronic component cooling devices, such as AC and DC fans, blowers, and impellers, as well as motors, custom motor assemblies, motor accessories, heat sinks, and fan accessories. The company also offers custom solutions, including fan modifications, such as airflow and noise settings, alarm outputs, application specific speed control ability via voltage or PWM inputs, thermal speed profiles via PTC or NTC, and environmental protection products; fan tray assemblies, such as air movers, wire harness, fan controller and sheet metal assemblies, LED alarm outputs, EMI and RFI suppressions, and custom air filters; fan controllers and sensors; and fan design, such as fan blade design, fan and blower housing, and AC and DC motor development. Its products are used in network servers, telecommunications equipment, electronic cabinetry, computers and peripherals, and laboratory equipment. Comair Rotron offers its products through distributors in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Mid Eastern region, as well as representatives in the United States and Canada. The company was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in San Diego, California with assembly plants in Mexico. As of October 14, 2008, Comair Rotron, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of WET Automotive Systems AG.
