TOKYO, Japan, April 18 (UPI) The Matsushita Corp. of Japan discontinued its line of NAis household appliances and other devices, retaining its National and Panasonic names. NAis, pronounced "nice," also was the brand name for lighting and electrical components. The name phased out by the end of April. Best known for its Panasonic brand name, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of electronic products for a wide range of consumer, business, and industrial needs.
