The Imaging segment is providing imaging sensors, cameras and sub-systems for its customers across a range of applications in the automation, healthcare, discovery and environment markets. The RF Power segment is producing components and sub-systems that deliver radio frequency power generation for healthcare, industrial and defense applications. The Semiconductors segment is providing semiconductors that meet the demanding specifications of its customers. The Semiconductors segment also offers multi -chip modules and boards. The Company has approximately nine main engineering facilities and approximately six offices across Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific. The Company's subsidiaries include e2v technologies (UK) Limited, e2v technologies GmbH, e2v Limited, e2v technologies SAS, e2v semiconductors SAS and e2v SAS.
e2v offers: For the machine vision market, e2v provides high performance image sensors and custom camera solutions and application specific standard products. In addition, e2v provides high performance space qualified imaging sensors and arrays for space science and astronomy. e2v also produces components and subsystems that deliver high reliability radio frequency power generation for healthcare, industrial and defense applications. Finally, the company provides high reliability semiconductors and board-level solutions for use in aerospace, space and communications applications.
- RF Power solutions for: defence electronic countermeasures, radiotherapy cancer treatment machines, radar systems, satellite communications amplifiers, industrial heating, cargo screening, ProWave® industrial processing systems, missile control safety and arming devices, and digital television transmitters.
- Imaging solutions including CCD and CMOS sensors and cameras, for space and earth observation imaging, science and life science imaging, machine vision, ophthalmology and dental x-ray systems.
- Semiconductor solutions for aerospace and defence programmes requiring: lifecycle management, hi-rel microprocessors, high speed data converters, high reliability ICs with lifetime continuity of supply, assembly and test services and MRAMs.
In March 2017, Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) and e2v technologies plc (e2v) announced the successful completion of Teledyne's acquisition of e2v.
