These products are also used widely in the military and aerospace electronics to protect components from extremely hazardous environments. Generally there are two usual conformal coating standards which apply to circulated qualified product list, the MIL-I-46058C and UL746E. These standards test products rigorously to assure that they are safe as well as high quality.

HumiSeal is manufactured by Chase Electronic Coatings, an operating division of Chase Corporation and produces conformal coatings from all chemistries, including acrylics, urethanes and silicones, both water based and UV curable. This represents the widest product range and the largest choice of qualified products currently available. The Chase Electronic Coatings business unit is currently comprised of the industry leading HumiSeal® range of conformal coatings, for thin film (2mil, 50 micron) protection as well as the Fluid Polymers line of high quality, economically priced, polyurethane thick film, potting and encapsulation resins.

Chase Electronic Coatings manufactures products at three strategic locations across the globe, each facility being qualified to produce any materials from the extensive product range. The North American manufacturing plant has recently been upgraded to become a 100,000 sq ft (10,000 sq metres) state-of-the-art facility, using fully automated, environmentally controlled and computer controlled production equipment to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality and consistency possible, in line with Chase's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
