Knowles Capacitors

knowles logo Knowles Capacitors Syfer (formerly Syfer Technology Limited) is a premier global source for application specific multilayer ceramic capacitors and EMI suppression filters. Our comprehensive product range includes many application-specific capacitors, including FlexiCap and the new StackiCap range, as well as standard voltages and capacitance values. Knowles also designs and manufactures a range of EMI/RFI filters including surface mount types for pcb applications, as well as threaded and solder-in panel-mounted styles.

Knowles CapacitorsOn March 3rd 2014 Dover completed the spin off of Knowles Corporation. During this transition, the former CMP Group was fully transferred to the new organization. The created Knowles Corporation exists of the brands Knowles, Sound Solutions, Vectron, DLI, Novacap, Syfer and Voltronics. Knowles Capacitors makes Multilayer, High Reliability, Single Layer and Precision Variable Capacitors, EMI Filters and Thin Film Devices. The company was formed by combining Dielectric Laboratories, Novacap, Syfer and Voltronics, each well-established specialty capacitor makers with a combined history of over 175 years, into a single organization.

Voltronics Corporation is the world's leader in the design and manufacture of precision trimmer capacitors. Their engineering team works closely with customers to develop leading edge technologies to solve all of their tuning needs for variable capacitors. Voltronics trimmers include air, glass, sapphire and PTFE dielectrics that can be used from 1 MHz to over 2 GHz and at voltages up to 20,000 VDC. Knowles also offers a complete line of non-magnetic components for the NMR and MRI industries.

In 2014 Dielectric Laboratories (DLI), Novacap, Syfer Technology and Voltronics came together into a single organisation, Knowles Capacitors. With a combined history exceeding 175 years, and operating as a division of Knowles Corporation of USA, Knowles Capacitors was a merging of some of the world's leading speciality capacitor manufacturers. The Precision Devices division of Knowles is a $200m+ global manufacturer of precision capacitors, components and crystal oscillators.

Knowles Corporation is a market leader and global supplier of advanced micro-acoustic solutions and specialty components serving the mobile communications, consumer electronics, medical, military, aerospace and industrial markets. Knowles Capacitors, as one of the divisions of Knowles Corporation, is one company with 5 Product Groups and 4 Brands. This means that the different manufacturers under the CMP Group (Syfer Technology, Novacap, DLI and Voltronics) don't exist any longer. They've turned into one company with different brands. This one company has one business approach with one sales team creating one face to the customers. Ceramic Surface Mount Mounting Pad Dimensions and Considerations
