VISHAY VITRAMON

vishay logo
Vitramon acquired by Vishay in 1994. Vitramon produces surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) in industry-standard footprint sizes and using eight different dielectric materials. Voltage ratings range from 6.3V to 3000V, with maximum operating temperature ratings up to 175C.

Vitramon capacitorsVitramon manufactures a wide variety of Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) for commercial, industrial and high reliability applications. The VJ Series commercial capacitors include X7R and C0G/NP0 dielectrics and are available in popular case sizes 0402, 0603 & 0805 and larger with nickel barrier and palladium silver terminations. Vitramon also offers models screened to MIL-PRF-55681 (CDR), DSSC devices (03029), MIL-PRF-123 requirements, as well as VJ and QUAD High Frequency devices. Vitramon MLCC products utilize Noble Metal Electrode (NME) for the most reliable MLCC devices available. Beyond commodity applications, Vishay Vitramon capacitors provide the high quality level and proven reliability required by demanding industrial, automotive, medical, and military applications. Added-value devices include capacitors specially designed to prevent surface arc-over in high-voltage applications, capacitors designed for board-flex sensitive applications, and special non-magnetic capacitors. Vishay Vitramon also offers a line of surface-mount chip antennas.

Vishay

Vishay has a diverse portfolio of semiconductor and passive components, including diodes, MOSFETs, optoelectronic products, selected integrated circuits (ICs), resistors, inductors, and capacitors. This enables Vishay to provide “one-stop shop” service and offer many different parts for each customer design. R&D programs throughout all Company divisions generate a steady stream of new components to help designers create innovative end products — from lightweight netbooks to implantable medical devices to advanced engine controls. Components less than five years old provide a significant percentage of Vishay’s total revenue. This percentage is expected to increase during the next several years. Vishay’s innovations in technology, successful acquisition strategy, superior product quality, and “one-stop shop” service to customers have made the Company a global industry leader.
