The company focuses on mobile broadband, multimarket, and RF energy electronic products. The NXP RF Power Division’s product portfolio ( RF Amplifiers, RF MOSFETs) has been transferred to Ampleon (October 5, 2105). Focusing on partnering with customers to exploit opportunities in RF data and energy transfer, Ampleon aims to increase its commitment to R&D and grow its engineering resources. Ampleon is a founding member of the RF Energy Alliance, whose members aim to build a fast-growing ecosystem around the use of solid-state RF energy as a highly efficient and controllable source of heat and power.
