Raspberry Pi Compute Module
Quick Overview
The new Raspberry Pi Compute Module enables advanced design engineers to use the Compute Module along with the downloadable board schematics to create their own PCB design and harness the power of the Raspberry Pi into their own embedded application.
Details
- Small and Powerful - SODIMM sized (6.5cm by 3cm) Raspberry Pi board containing the Broadcom BCM2835 chip with 512MB RAM along with an on board 4GB eMMC Flash memory for booting the operating system. This allows an engineer to create a final product with a very small footprint.
- Flexible and Rapid Prototype Development – The 200 pin edge connector provides the design engineer with access to all of the BCM2835 functionality.
- Hardware and Software Solutions - Benefit from the dedicated hardware design created by an engineer, whilst still providing all of the power of a fully functional Linux application server to perform the analysis and computational tasks necessary to manage and self-diagnose the industrial solution. This unique combination of services will help define the next generation of the “Internet of Things”.
