The firm’s products include wireless, optical, microwave/RF, and digital instruments as well as operations-support systems for R&D, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. Anritsu also provides precision microwave/RF components, optical devices, and high-speed electrical devices for communication products and systems.

Anritsu Corp. mainly manufactures measurement equipment. It has three business segments. Anritsu's communications test and measurement products are widely used by telecommunications service providers, equipment manufacturers, and network operators for quality assurance, performance testing, and troubleshooting.

  • The Measurement Equipment segment manufactures measurement equipment for digital communications and Internet Protocol (IP) networks, optical communications and mobile communications, general-purpose measurement equipment for RF radio frequency, microwave bands and millimeter wavebands, and offers service assurance.
  • The Industrial Machinery segment provides automated weight sorters, automated electronic measurement equipment, foreign substance detectors and exact dimension measurement equipment.
  • The other segment is engaged in the provision of information communication, related devices, logistics and welfare services, the leasing of real estate, the manufacture of components, as well as the human resources (HR)and accounting related clerical business.

  4. OTDRs (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers): Anritsu's OTDRs are designed for testing and troubleshooting optical fiber networks. They provide measurements of optical fiber loss, length, and reflection, helping to locate faults and assess the health of optical networks.

  5. Protocol Analyzers: Anritsu offers protocol analyzers for various communication standards, including LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. These analyzers help in analyzing network protocols, ensuring compliance with standards, and troubleshooting communication issues.

  6. Wireless Test Sets: Anritsu provides wireless test sets for testing mobile devices, base stations, and other wireless communication equipment. These sets support a variety of wireless standards and technologies, including 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G.

  7. BER Testers (Bit Error Rate Testers): Anritsu's BER testers are used to evaluate the integrity of digital communication links by measuring the bit error rate. These instruments are essential for assessing the quality of digital transmission systems.
