CII was acquired by TE Connectivity in 2001 and is now a brand in the Electromechanical, Solid State Relays & Contactors business unit of TE Connectivity.
The broad line of CII Brand relays from TTI and TE Connectivity meets the most exacting requirements for performance, packaging and connections. These MIL qualified relays provide efficient power switching from 5 to 50 amps in a compact 1-inch sealed cube with more than 350 different sizes and performance products. You’re certain to find the relay you need in the CII family.
Products line includes:
- Electromechanical models ranging from microwave-switching TO-5 types to multiple, 25 amp models.
- Solid state Relays including versions with built-in circuit protection and other intelligent functions.
- Time delay Relays offering various timing functions and delay times.
Both mil-spec and commercial versions of these hermetically-sealed Relays are offered. If an off-the-shelf model doesn't meet your requirements, our experienced engineering team will work with you to develop and build a model for your application. We offer many optional terminals and mounting styles, including surface mount.
TE Connectivity / CII High-Performance Relays are designed for demanding, high-performance applications. These relays and contactors meet stringent aerospace and defense specs in the most extreme environments. TE High-Performance Relays can switch currents from dry circuits to more than 1000A, voltages up to 70kV, and frequencies up to 6GHz.
CII FCA Mid-Range Relays offer a polarized single-side stable design, where the flux from a permanent magnet provides the armature holding force in the deactivated state, and its flux path is switched and combined with the coil flux in the operating state. This results in appreciably increased contact pressure in both states over that of a spring return nonpolar design.
