About Yageo

Established in 1977, Yageo Corporation is a global leader in the production of passive components. Through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, Yageo has expanded its presence and capabilities in the industry. In 1994, Yageo acquired ASJ, a reputable resistor manufacturer based in Singapore. This was followed by the acquisitions of Vitrohm, a prominent German resistor manufacturer, and Teapo, Taiwan's largest electrolytic capacitor (E-cap) manufacturer, in 1996. In 1997, Chilisin, Taiwan's leading inductor manufacturer, joined the Yageo family. Additionally, in 2000, Yageo acquired two passive component units from Philips Electronics NV, which are now incorporated into Yageo under the brand names Phycomp and Ferroxcube.

These strategic acquisitions, combined with Yageo's organic growth, have positioned the company as one of the world's top three suppliers capable of providing all three primary passive components: resistors, capacitors, and inductors. Yageo's extensive portfolio and global presence have solidified its reputation as a reliable and comprehensive solution provider in the field of passive components.
